Thea is a talented food illustrator who has excelled at drawing and painting since childhood. She graduated with an illustration degree from a prestigious art school and carved out a niche for herself seven years ago. However, what once seemed great now bothers Thea. She only finds aspects she dislikes.

She despises spending most of her days alone and is frustrated by the fluctuating income of freelancing. She knew all her clients too well, and all seemed to want the same thing. These factors appear to stifle her creativity. It's as if her well of inspiration has run dry; she no longer enjoys painting and has lost interest in other activities she once loved, like singing and playing the violin.

Thea worries that others will discover she's a fraud and not proficient at her job. She perceives every other illustrator as superior to her. She desires an immediate career change.
