Hi, I’m Sophie.

I design Human-centered approach to Change

I combine psychology and behavioral science with design to focus on designing processes, approaches, tools, and strategies that promote positive and measurable changes in people’s lives. I’m lucky to work where culture, education, and social change meet; it’s what gives my life meaning.

I actively pursue a back-to-basics lifestyle to reconnect with nature, and I believe that greatness is a lot of small things done well every day. I am committed to solving problems without creating a new product because we have everything we need to solve our problems through behavior change, creativity, and communication.

I am convinced that most wisdom is found by leaning into your pain and growing from it. I also believe that most pain is a man-made drama our minds create to escape.

I was born in Los Angeles, raised in Indonesia and Singapore, and have Chinese heritage. I’m fascinated by family, ancestry, and cultural origin. I carry deep cultural respect and sensitivity in all my international experiences. I live in Oslo, Norway, with my husband and two daughters for the last 9 years. When I am not working, I’m a fun mom & wife, out in the forest, I do yoga and meditate. I teach piano to kids, paint and read.
